Scoring and test rules

Each test has a target score and a set number of reactions. The first asks for 300 points within 4 reactions. Reach it to move on.

No chemistry knowledge needed. A card that completes a compound on its own glows brighter.

    64 elements as cards, 300 compounds

    From water and table salt to an antacid, gemstones and molecules with more than 100 atoms.

    Bigger molecules use bundle cards. Each one holds a fixed number of atoms, so your hand stays the same size while the atom count grows. A bundle is always used whole.

    Stop at the shop between tests

    After each test you can visit the shop. There are 32 tools. Tools on your shelf add points or multiplier every time you react.

    Open packs to add element cards, or use recipes to raise a compound's points before the next target.

    Before you play

    Do I need to know chemical formulas?

    No. Pick a card and the cards that combine with it light up. A card that completes a compound glows more strongly. Water uses two Hydrogen (H) cards and one Oxygen (O) card. Table salt uses one Sodium (Na) and one Chlorine (Cl) card.

    How is it different from regular poker?

    Instead of matching numbers and suits, you make real compounds from element cards. Compound points and multipliers determine your score. Reach each experiment's target and collect tools and cards between experiments. This is a single-player game.

    Is it free? How does the iPhone version differ?

    The browser version is free, with ads on the website, and requires an internet connection. The paid iPhone app is a one-time purchase with offline play, no ads and no in-app purchases. The App Store link opens the Japanese store.

    Can I play on my phone?

    Yes. Turn your phone to landscape for a larger game screen. You can also add the browser game to your home screen. The iPhone app requires iOS 14.0 or later.

    Can I close the game and continue later?

    Progress saves automatically in your app or browser. Clearing browser site data removes the browser save. The app and browser have separate saves and do not sync. Visit support for more details.
